Between Omaruru in the East and Henties Bay in the West, lies the small town of Uis, renowned for its tin mining, semi-precious stones and proximity to the Brandberg with its famous Bushman paintings.

After a long and dusty drive you will arrive at the Königstein Guest House in Uis, and just ready for a little relaxation. You will find us placed in a landscaped garden, done in a Namib Desert design.
We have a large comfortable verandah, an ideal spot for friends and family to get together. Enjoy our comfortable accommodation and unwind with the true sense of a well deserved rest. |

At our restaurant you will be welcomed by Dina and Johan to enjoy a long cold draught, a delicious meal or we will endeavour to meet your every need with true Namibian hospitality.
Guests can revitalise themselves by taking a refreshing swim in the pool or simply relax under the thatched lapa.
Also available behind the main house is our campsite with the necessary facilities.

A visit to Königstein Guest House with its close proximity to the Brandberg is a must on your itinerary. This mountain is renowned for the many Bushman paintings, in particular the famous "White Lady" painting.
Goboboseb Mountain houses the beautiful quartz crystals, which are salvaged and sold in Uis. The mountain with all its fascinating features attracts many climbers both local and from overseas.
The surrounding savannah is home to many of our few legged friends such as springbok, elephant and ostrich.
