| Vrede en Lust is a modern winery,
building on a viticultural heritage of more than 300 years.
The wine making focus is on the production
of elegant and complex, noble red blends. The wines range from a unique
dry Rosé under the Jacques de Savoye label, to the flagship Bordeaux
blend that will proudly bear the Vrede en Lust name. A handmade Chardonnay
is available only from the cellar door. |
| The winery is committed to delighting
the wine lover and wine tourist. As such, the winery strives to ensure
that all the wines are available for tasting and purchase throughout the
year.
We offer the visitor a magnificent
venue, which may also be used for high end functions such as weddings.
This modern Africanesque facility seats up to 100 guests with dancing.
The private balcony overlooks the vineyards and mountains and the award
winning lighting creates the most perfect atmosphere. |

to 4 pm for tastings. Groups of more than 10 visitors by appointment please. |

Cellar tours on regular schedule
over weekends and peak holiday seasons or by appointment. Vineyard tours
during peak holiday season or by appointment starting December. |
| Cotage Fromage offers a wide range
of cheeses, olive products, freshly baked bread and deli items.
Enjoy breakfast, lunch or cake, tea
and coffee outside under the oaks in summer or in front of the fireplace
in winter. Take-away picnic hampers may be ordered.
We also offer accommodation
in 2 cottages and in our Manor House, a beautiful building with foundations
going back nearly 300 years. |
