Known as the “place of quiet”, Ukutula Lodge and Lion Centre is nestled in lush bushveld where the roars of our lions can be heard for miles around.
We are conveniently situated an hour's drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Here we provide our guests with a quiet place to unwind, as well as a unique venue for conferencing and team building.

Our fully equipped self catering chalets are all airconditioned and these well-appointed rooms are serviced daily. The larger family units can accommodate up to six persons in two bedrooms.
Ukutula's barbecue area is just the place to put your legs up after an adventurous day, while savouring on a tall drink from our bar. Guests can also take a refreshing dip in one of our swimming pools or relax in the jacuzzi. |

We guarantee our guests an “African home-style” culinary experience, like enjoying potjiekos (food cooked on an open fire in a cast iron pot) in the boma.
At Ukutula we have a conference room with cinema style seating and a range of teambuilding exercises that will turn any conference into an adventure.
Our farm is home to a fascinating and educational lion-breeding project. Here you can see these majestic animals up close and even cuddle a lion cub!

Tame animals like different antelope species, giraffes and zebras that walk around freely further enhance the peaceful bushveld atmosphere. Our farm also boasts a variety of birdlife.
Guests can choose from a range of activities to fill their days: game viewing on a quad bike or open safari vehicle, guided walks through the bush, putt-putt or fishing trips.
