the 18 km Clanwilliam Dam. Fish for black bass or gently paddle along the
water surface. Clanwilliam is also unique as an area where Rooibos tea
is grown. This bush produces a herbal tea, renowned throughout the world.
Other worthwhile trips from Clanwilliam
include Lamberts Bay, the fishing village on the west coast. Watch the
boats unload the rich harvest of the sea when they return to the harbour
or visit the bird sanctuary and study the colonies of gannets and cormorants.
