SA Lion Park is situated near Lanseria Airport and Fourways within easy reach of Johannesburg and Pretoria.
The park offers up close views and other exciting interactions with a large variety of African predators and large herbivores. Home to over 80 lions, its permanent residents include rare white lions, cheetahs and wild dogs.

Guests can interact with lion cubs in the Cub World area. There is also a giraffe feeding platform that puts you at eye level with a tame giraffe, creating a fun experience.
SA Lion Park can be explored with a self drive or guided safari, showing free roaming antelope and other herbivores. Guests can go on night drives and watch the lions feed. Other animals that also call the park home are brown, spotted and striped hyaenas, as well as black back and side stripe jackals.

Our park is also an established leader in commercial wildlife filming. The location is particularly suitable for advertisements and documentaries, but we also offer an African bush film location and trained animals.
We are home to a variety of wildlife species which requires continuous maintenance and management. Volunteers from all over the world help with feeding the animals, cleaning, maintenance and interacting with the many visitors.

Turn an ordinary kiddies party into an adventure, or have a conference with edge where a day is ended with a relaxing game drive. SA Lion Park is open every day of the year.
A restaurant, curio shop and kiosk take care of visitors' need for sustenance, knick-knacks and snacks. Two playgrounds will keep the little ones entertained and our
lapa is suitable for rustic breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Semi luxurious tent accommodation is available for longer stays.
