The Royal Mail Ship “St. Helena” offers an unique experience in both coastal and ocean cruising between
Cape Town, Walvis Bay, St. Helena and Ascension Island,
returning via these ports in reverse order.
Twice a year the RMS sails north to the UK port of Portland and vice versa. |
| You may sail on any or all legs of our voyages. As the RMS carries cargo, there is a unique opportunity for passengers to take their 4x4 vehicle with them from Cape Town to Walvis Bay or vice versa. Cabins vary from singles to 5 berth for families. |
| The RMS offers a relaxed voyage
with mostly everything included in the price. Bar drinks and participation
in some entertainment is chargeable.
We have two bars, a small shop, and
swimming pool, exercise room and a large dining saloon. There is plenty
of room on deck to relax or exercise. |
 |
 |
All meals, tea and coffee are included.
There is a choice of hot or cold breakfasts and lunch and a five course
multi-choice dinner in the evening.
Our stays at Walvis
Bay give time for excursions ashore and it is possible to stay 7 days or more
on St. Helena where a choice of hotels or self-catering accommodation is
available. |
| Now, for the first time in over
two generations, you can combine a cruise on the Royal Mail Ship St. Helena
with a stay on Ascension Island.
If you don't have a month to spare
for our long, lazy cruises, we are now offering 2 and 3 week holiday options
on RMS St. Helena, combining cruises with visits to St. Helena and Ascension
Island. |
