The Ring Oxwagon Lodge, South Africa

The Ring Oxwagon Lodge is a living museum where guests can relive the romance of the early pioneers and Jock of the Bushveld era.

Come and treat yourself to an unforgettable stay with a panoramic view of Hartbeespoort Dam high from the Witwatersberg Mountains.

Guests can have a taste of yesteryear when staying over in an authentically restored oxwagon with a comfortable double bed.

We also have chalets that can sleep up to six people and each chalet has its own bathroom with shower. Bedding is provided for all accommodation.

Our splash pool has a magnificent view down the Witwatersberg Mountains. Guests can relax there with drinks from our bar or simply enjoy a moment of quality time.

Special events are hosted in our function venue and our conference facilities can cater for up to 30 people.

Business meetings are invigorated by the fresh mountain air and small weddings fall charmingly into place in this serene setting.

The area is a private hideaway for nature lovers and the surrounding mountains have nature trails with a lot of bird watching opportunities.

Hartbeespoort Dam is a popular resort area with a wide variety of activities. On offer are watersports, ballooning and lots more. The arts and craft routes are also well worth a visit.
