ReitSafari HorseTrails Namibia
We have ridden across the Namib Desert over a hundred times, travelling some of the most daring horse trails in the world.
These include 400 kilometres in 9 days (plus 2 days ranch / coast) from the Central Highland across the escarpment, the outskirts of the Namib desert, Kuiseb Canyon, Tinkas-, Tumos- and Welwitschia planes into the Lunar Landscape of Moonvalley, the dry Swakop riverbed and onto the Atlantic Ocean. |
Backed by 18 years experience in riding, campfires, bush cooking and sleeping under the stars, we now offer several less tough options as well:
- Africa's Greatest Canyon Trail in the southern part of Namibia – Fish River Canyon to Orange River with excursion to the famous Namib Desert Wild Horses.
- Damaraland-Skeleton Coast Trail in northern Namibia.
- Desert, Dunes and Diamonds Trail in the Restricted Diamond Area – old pioneer route from Aus across the Namib Desert to Lüderitzbucht at the coast.
