Lazarus Pinn, a watchmaker by trade, arrived in Cape Town from Lithuania in 1890. In 1893 he set up a shop in Long Street where he repaired watches on his bed because he couldn't afford a workbench. In 1907 he opened a shop in Adderley Street where he sold jewellery as well as repairing watches. |
Since this time, Pinns the Jewellers has always been a landmark to locals of and visitors to the Mother City.
The new Pinns, situated in the brand new Sable Square Outlet Shopping Village in Century City, is still proud to offer superb value, while not compromising on quality, offering the latest fashion watches and a vast range of jewellery. |
