Mount Amanzi, South Africa

Deep in the heart of the Magaliesberg Mountains and nestled along the banks of the Crocodile River, lies one of the most picturesque resorts.

Mount Amanzi is situated a 30 minute drive from Pretoria and spans 33 hectares of natural bush. Here we pride ourselves on personalised and friendly service with an emphasis on flexibility.

The winner of numerous awards, Mount Amanzi offers excellent conference and function facilities. Choose from 9 halls that can accommodate delegations from 10 to 300.

To add variety to your conference menus, we are also able to do boma spitbraais and barbeques at our lapas, as well as theme dinners and buffet meals. Tailormade teambuilding packages can include 4x4 vehicle exercises, abseiling and river rafting.

Inside chalet and indoor swimming pool

Mount Amanzi comprises of 168 self catering chalets and each chalet has its own braai facility and parking space. Twenty four hour security allows for peace of mind at all times.

Guests can relax in our ladies bar or in one of our three swimming pools. Our entertainment centre has eight televisions, while the rest of the recreation areas have pool tables and dartboards. An award winning restaurant on the premises provides sumptuous meals.

A short walk from all three accommodation camps will take you to the banks of the Crocodile River. The resort also has 3 natural dams set amongst the trees, where one can enjoy the indigenous birdlife. Malaria free Pilanesberg National Park is 90 kilometres away and has plenty of game, including Africa's Big 5.

The Hartbeespoort Dam area has an abundance of hiking trails and is a birdwatcher's paradise. Visitors can take sunset cruises on the tranquil waters of the dam or go for balloon rides. Also on offer are helicopter flips, parasailing, skiing and golf.
