Specialized outings to the local
museum and school have also been arranged. Visitors are encouraged
to take a lesson with the children, a group of 5 children discuss various
topics for the outing.
A donation is paid at the lodge,
for the school visits and goes towards the building of the new 4 school
class rooms.
You could even arrange a soccer match
in the afternoons after school. The children from the village will
also take you on a village walk to their homes and places of interest. |
| We have a Sangoma in the village.
Genuinely interested people will be in tune with the traditional healers.
The bones are thrown and the Sangoma discusses health, travel and well-being
of the visitor.
The local children's choir and band,
using home-made instruments will entertain the visitors around a campfire
in the evening. You are welcome to dance with the band and this always
creates good interaction and fun. |
