Cape St. Francis is situated at the
most southerly Cape in the Eastern Cape. It boasts with the Cape St. Francis
Light House, a National Monument, built in 1878 at Seal Point.
All our streets have been named after
shipwrecks along this coastline. Keeping with the tradition 4 star graded
Lyngenfjord House is named after the Lyngenfjord which sank in 1938. |
Our 6 en suite bedrooms are spacious
and comfortable and the panoramic views of the sea, Seal Point surf and
the beach break are breathtaking and exhilarating.
The lounge balcony upstairs is ideal
for a relaxing read and the veranda downstairs perfect for breakfast. |

Our pristine beach is safe for swimming and the beach walk is about 4 kilometres long towards Cape St. Francis Point.
From
May until the end of October we often have whales in the bay and the dolphins
visit the surf regularly.

From Seal Point you have a selection of two world class surfing spots as well as the famous "Bruce Beauties" in St. Francis.
There are also two 18 hole golf courses
in St. Francis Bay and also bowling greens, tennis courts and squash courts.
Other activities such as a canal
or river cruise, deep sea fishing, sand boarding or a cultural outing can be arranged. |
