Hudup Camp Site
Welcome at Hudup Camp Site on the banks of the Hudup River, one of the bigger tributaries of the great Fishriver.
The Nama Bushmen were one of the first occupants of these riverbanks and some still live along the river downstream. |
If you are lucky, you still can find pearls and necklace ornaments made from ostrich eggshells.
Near the campsite the first white settlers build their dwellings of which the ruins are still found. |

Our cosy campsite offers you neat facilities and lots of space.
Come and enjoy the
peace and quiet
around an open fire each evening. There are lots to
explore. The campsite lies along the banks of the Hudup River. This beautiful river carries water throughout the year.
