This small establishment was built in 1928 and named High Sands. Its original wooden floors and bay windows lend character to this historic home.

With this in mind the family meticulously transformed High Sands into a getaway for tourists and executives alike.

Our en suite rooms sleep a maximum of two people. There are fitted with air-conditioning, televisions and bar fridges. Complimentary tea and coffee stations are available as well as a barbecue area with pizza oven.

There is a cigar bar for the sport fanatic and a wine cellar for private dinner parties and conferences.

Swimming pool Laze around the swimming pool with sun downers after an active day and be spoiled by the on hand owners.

Breakfast is served in the cosy dining room or room service is available, offering a full continental and English breakfast.

Breakfast, lunches and dinners are prepared by your host personally, and no request for something sumptuous is too big or too small.

We are situated in the heart of Durban North, around the corner from our local business centre, 10 minutes from the ICC and 12 minutes from the city centre. 5 minutes from a country club and golfcourses and 10 minutes from Umhlanga Rocks.

A shuttle service is available on request.
