Our gracious hotel sits on the hill
above the Langebaan Lagoon on the Cape West Coast of South Africa.
Originally built in 1860 as the Panorama
Farm Homestead, it was beautifully restored in 1992, recreating the original
Cape Dutch farmstead atmosphere.
It retains the charm of reed ceilings,
huge fireplaces and outstanding views of the lagoon. |
| Our Management and Staff look forward
to offering you the warmest of West Coast welcomes and pampering you with
our homely, personalized service. |
| The guest suites, some with their
own fireplace and sweeping views of the lagoon, lead to a private pool
side garden. Colourful charm and ambience add to the comfortable suites
and ensure a relaxing stay.
We have eighteen rooms, with televisions,
tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar. Sixteen of the rooms have
en-suite bathrooms, and two rooms share a bathroom. |

Our restaurant, the Panorama, named
after the original homestead, offers traditional Cape cuisine and a winning
wine list, specializing in wines of the West Coast and Swartland regions.
Enjoy the finest, fresh West Coast
seafood – mussels or fresh line fish.
In summer the excellent lagoon views
from the patio make it the perfect spot for breakfast and lunch and to
watch the sun go down with a long cool drink.
Spa facilities available at the hotel. |
| The Cape West Coast is a unique
region, most famous for its beautiful scenery, sea food, bird life, wines
and friendly locals. There are hikes and bird viewing hides throughout
the nature reserve offering peaceful hours amongst the natural beauty of
the region.
For the more adventurous there are
plenty of water sports available and for those looking for fun and laughter,
enjoy visiting the local vineyards and tasting our wines. Join the locals
at one of the many restaurants or bars and experience the special, friendly
and laid back spirit of the region.
The memories will linger on. |
