Imagine tracking the slow walk of an elephant while enjoying your first cup of coffee in the sheltered shade of a wide veranda. Imagine this and you will find it at 3 star Crock River Lodge.
Our thatched guesthouse is situated only 6 kilometres from the the Lebombo border post between South Africa and Mozambique and 10 kilometres from the Kruger National Park's nearest gate, Crocodile Bridge. |
| Close to the tranquil town of Komatipoort,
it is an ideal stopover for tourists visiting the natural wonders of the
Kruger National Park or the attractions of Mozambique. |
| Choose between 6 double airconditioned
rooms, all with en suite bathrooms. We also offer a 3 bedroom and a 4 bedroom self catering unit. All rooms provide the comforts of a true African
style, 3 with spectacular views of the Crocodile River and Kruger National
Park from a magnificent thatched veranda.
A built in barbecue on the veranda
provides the perfect ending to a long day of game viewing. The fully equipped
kitchen is available for the making of dinner and for self-catering purposes. Telephone, e-mail, internet and fax facilities as well as covered parking are also available. |

Breakfast is served in the dining room (with courtesy bar and satellite television) overlooking the veranda.
The tranquil sound of the passing
Crocodile River is one of the only sounds you will hear when you wake up
in the mornings.
Hippos walking along the river feeding. Crocodiles relaxing on the banks of the river and
the fish eagle's cry will remind you of the extraordinary
features of the African Bush. |
| For the more active visitor, there
is fly fishing and bird watching available.
Game drives to nearby Kruger Park
and a private game reserve can also be arranged, while keen golfers can
try out the golf course in the region. |
