At The City Grill Steakhouse, we
ensure that your dining experience is an unforgettable one. Our tasty South

Situated in the heart of the Waterfront,
this family steakhouse caters to everyone's needs. It is a good old-fashioned
steakhouse with a strong South African flavour. Comfortably accommodating
up to 230 people, the restaurant also boasts outdoor seating with magnificent
views of the harbour and Table Mountain. |
| The décor is reminiscent
of an Old Dutch farmhouse clutter, combined with African ethnicity to form
a warm and familiar atmosphere. Boxes stack the red cement floor, while
wine racks are displayed on walls to create a simple down to earth environment
where everyone can feel at home.
Using only top quality ingredients,
our dishes are freshly and carefully prepared in our on-site kitchen. |

Our mouth-watering menu has been
carefully planned to offer a variety of dishes for everyone’s taste - from
simple "braaivleis and boerewors" dishes to Oom Patrick's Frikkadels on
a skewer with curry sauce.
Foreign visitors are invited to try
the typically South African game dishes, such as kudu, crocodile, wild
boar, ostrich kebabs or springbok medallions in a sultana or quince sauce,
while local customers wishing for a light meal can choose from an array
of homemade hamburgers. |
| Steaks can be ordered as is, or
cut to size and grilled in owner Peter's "Tomcat" basting. Meats include
well-matured, giant T-bones, sirloins and saddle of lamb, but for something
really different try the grill skewer.
For the not such great meat lovers,
a variety of vegetarian, fish and chicken dishes are available.
We also have a perfect selection
of world-class South African wines to compliment your meal, and a wide
range of spirits, liqueurs, South African beers, imported beers and cocktails.
