Bushwise Safari & Lodge, South Africa From our Lodge on the banks of the Crocodile River overlooking Kruger, we conduct daily safaris in an open-vehicle into South Africa's greatest wilderness, where the diversity of South Africa's wildlife is unsurpassed.
We arrange night drives and bush walks for those who are more adventurous.
The Lodge itself is double storey under cool thatch with magnificent views across the Crocodile River.

The surrounding bush is teeming with a huge variety of bushveld birds and it's not unusual when awoken by this dawn chorus to see kudu antelope, warthog or zebra wandering by.

Each of the Big 5 has in fact been viewed from the Lodge itself.
Lodge and Room With only 5 bedrooms, this is a personalised Lodge where you soon realise that we are here to ensure your enjoyment.

Each bedroom is en-suite, insect screened and air-conditioned.

You are likely to hear the roars of lion and calls of hyena break the quiet of the night, and hopefully the grunts of hippo in the river in front won't prevent you from your slumbers.
Evening “sundowners” are the normal event after a relaxing shower.

The pub is upstairs and open to the elements under thatch to bring in the bush atmosphere.

Dinner is normally served outside in the Boma around the campfire so one can get a feel of how the humans of yesteryear felt when they shared this magnificent wilderness with the rest of nature.
