Blue Mountain Lodge, South Africa

A touch of elegance with a hint of exclusivity and miles away from human sounds. The five star Blue Mountain Lodge is an experience of luxury, nature and fantasy carefully blended into one.

Set on 200 hectares of indigenous bush, forestry and farmland, our hotel with its pillared verandas is an "Out of Africa" story come true.

Great care has been taken to create unique accommodation, embracing a standard comparable with some of the top hotels in the world.

At Blue Mountain Lodge guests can make themselves at home in a manor house with a marbled bathroom or a presidential suite with a private plunge pool. Our Victorian suites has an old worldly charm, while our gallery bedrooms are reminiscent of castles and Camelot.

The restaurant and the chapel

The 20 metre long swimming pool near the main complex invites days of lounging in the glorious sun. Our bar has a competition sized billiard table and an elegant restaurant serves exquisite cuisine.

On arrangement, we can organise beauty treatments on the premises such as facials, body massages and manicures. A shaded pathway lined with blue plumbago plants leads to our quaint chapel, where vows can be exchanged.

On the property are beautiful walking routes and the contrasting vegetation is a birdwatcher's paradise. The botanical enthusiast will also not be disappointed.

Our guests can explore the surrounding area without travelling great distances and our capable staff will arrange everything. Whether it is golfing or game viewing in Kruger National Park. There are fishing or cruises on the river, helicopter excursions and tours to Blyde River Canyon, Pilgrim's Rest and Bourkes Luck Potholes.
