Aquanaut Tours, Namibia

Aquanaut Tours is a small tour company that loves to share the excitement involved in the fishing sport.

Situated in the beautiful seaside town of Swakopmund on the west coast of Namibia, we are also passionate about marine wildlife and promote this in the company’s work.

We are nestled alongside the Swakop river mouth and offer fishing tours by boat or from shore.

The fishing is divided into specialized shark fishing with a catch and release system and fishing for smaller edible fish.

Fishing from the beach and from a boat

Fishing equipment, bait and lunch packs are provided on all the fishing tours. The cash bar will keep away any thirst with a choice of soft drinks, mineral water, local Tafel Lager beer and wine.

Our combo boat fishing trip includes a sit down dinner consisting of the catch of the day and locally harvested fresh oysters.

Aquanaut Tours also does sightseeing dolphin cruises, always with the possibility of seeing Heaviside and bottlenose dolphins, Cape fur seals, pelicans, cormorants and terns.

On the odd occasion there have been sightings of leatherback turtles, penguins, mola molas (sunfish), Orcas, Southern Right and humpback whales. A sightseeing tour includes locally farmed oysters, champagne and a seafood platter.
